Every year is a little different when it comes to Halloween costumes and what's popular. Some years it's the scary look like Jason, or Freddy sometimes it's the cool look like Jersey Shore.

For kids they always get the biggest selection and the most variety to choose from and rightfully so. This year for example girls costumes like Monster High Halloween Costumes are a big time choice for many young ladies.

When recently shopping at one of the large retail stores I noticed that they had placed the Monster High costumes right on the end of the aisle. When they do this they know based on their marketing research that this will be a popular seller and that it needs to be right out in front where everyone can easily find it.

There are plenty of others like the Captain America Costume, Green Lantern, Harry Potter, plus many others. The one thing that these all have in common is that they are all very fashionable looking and well designed. There is more emphasis placed on the fit and overall colors and design. Ultimately it makes it more appealing for the end user before they even take it out of the packaging.

Awesome Idea for Greenbean Casserole Alternative

You know one of my favorite thanksgiving day dishes is the green bean casserole. The only problem is that I am the only one in my family that happens to like it. So last year I decided that I had to find a green bean casserole alternative. I wanted something that remained true to the original recipe but was enough variation that it tasted totally different and would invite others to enjoy a dish that I feel is an old standby for any holiday dinner.

So I was able to locate an new variation without to much trouble and it met the requirements that I was looking for.

1. It still uses green beans. Personally I like the French cut type in the can. If you use the frozen ones they tend to remain to crunchy and it doesn't taste right regardless of what type of green bean model you choose.

2. Instead of using mushroom soup, you use cheddar cheese soup.
3. Bring on the bacon bits.
4. Don't forget the Durke onions.

After bring these ingredients together and cooking it up in a new casserole it tasted amazing an literally was demolished by everyone. Almost makes me wish I hadn't brought out the new and improved GBC.

Through out the day today I have seen many people jump on this new book. Without a doubt many of us have had the unpleasant experience of having to sit down with those that work for a car dealership. Using the Taking the House Edge gives you the inside track and you already know their next move before they make it. John has spelled it out completely in his book. The only thing that I really dislike about it is the cover is seems a little amateurish.

Simple beginnings: Great bench work is the basis for good track work. The CDITU Site Is Whatever I Want It To Be About!

Well once again this blog site is about whatever I want it to be about.

With that being said I have decided that while I am always willing and able to provide advice for those that would like to start blogging for the express reason of putting some coin in their pocket then I'm right here and willing to give a hand.

But the Coolest Dude in The Universe site was really just an experiment with SEO and nothing more. I found a term that had really low competition and wanted to see how quickly a Blogger Blog would rank for a non competitive phrase.

So what did I find out?

Well the proof is in the pudding so to speak.

Google obviously has many different criteria about what they consider relevant to a search query but this blog makes it painfully obvious that when you search for the term coolest dude in the universe in Google, this site is the number one ranking and has been for years. That's right years.

As of today I own the term.

Here are somethings that I know for sure.

1. I was the first person in the entire planet to claim the term Google knows that so they give me what I would consider the benefit of the doubt when ranking me.

2. I have been posting regularly and when I say regularly I mean sometime during the year. Not everyday or week or month.

3. Not everything on this site is relevant to being Coolest Dude in The Universe.

4. I've noticed that others have tried to take the term away from me by going to the extreme of actually purchasing a coolestdudeintheuniverse domain name. Why?

I wasn't even trying it was just a test.

And so you have it others are wanting to be the CDiTU but it's just me.

Now that I've gotten that out of the way. I have come to the conclusion that since Google does like this site and has provided me with a number 1 ranking I will start posting about a lot more different topics in order to promote my own agenda.

HP g60-230us Great For Most Everyone

The HP g60 230us is a great laptop and one that will fit most peoples needs. Trouble is it always seem that finding a perfect fit in laptops is like trying to buy new sneakers. They all start to look and fit alike after a while.

Finding a laptop with just enough power plus all the bells and whistles can be confusing. Usually you find a system that has this or that, but not exactly everything in one package for your personal taste.

Personally I use a desktop most of the time but after checking out this HP and messing around with this laptop at the store for a while I was pretty much sold.

I have created Coolest Dude in The Universe Two

This is for the new page I created for the new Coolest Dude in the Universe Two

I wanted to see how quickly I could get a page indexed.

So here's what I've got.

Recently I created a page on Squidoo that was brand new. It was for a Disney Christmas Tre Review.
Now my previous post has a link that is to that page.

The problem is that I pinged that page and also made the link from here to that page as well. It took about 6 hours for Google to index and rank that page on page 4 plus pretty low competition.

I'm not entirely satisfied with that though. Although it's not bad

Basically I'm not sure if that page got indexed by my result of pinging, or because I linked it from here and another site.

Further I created a new Coolest Dude in The Universe Site on Wordpress called fittingly Coolest Dude in the Universe Two.

That was yesterday or early on Friday morning. Either way I created the Squidoo page and the new Coolest Dude in the Universe Two site basically around the same time frame. It should be mentioned that the WP was done on the website platform and not on a URL.

So both should have similar authority rankings.

Both were pinged and bookmarked.

As of this writing as mentioned the Squidoo page has been indexed and the Wordpress site has not. I did send a link from this CDIU site over to that page however and I'm wondering if that had an effect.

So here's what I'm going to do I am going to post a link from this CDIU site to the new one.
Additionally, I will ping this post and see if that will get it in the index.

Further I will make another post from this site only that will link to another Squidoo page and see how long it takes to get that indexed.

I actually created three new Squidoo pages all on the same topic of the Disney Christmas Tree.

So I am going to handle each one differently.

Just to recap...

One I will link from this site, and then ping the post only. I'm not going to ping the Squidoo page.

The second one that I made I will ping that page alone no other links coming in for now, and see how long that takes.

The third I will send a link from a article directory and ping that RSS feed, and ping the page itself.

As of today the homesalesofjax site was listed a #3 for the term Jacksonville Real Estate
while I find that a terrific accomplishment the unfortunatlely part is that the site is not getting the conversions you would expect based on a term like that. My thought is that it is just to broad a term, so while I proud of the fact that I was finally able to get the position I am not that happy with the return so far. We'll see what happens in the up coming weeks as we get closer to summer and hopefully it can remain in that spot. At that point I'll be able to make a better judgement as to what the overall conversion is.

The bottom line is I will be focusing on the longtail terms that are more specific to real estate areas in Jacksonville, Fl.

I'll put another post with some additional info on the results.

For the longest time you could do a simple search on Google and find the Coolest Dude in the Universe right at the top of the search results.

Unfortunately this has changed as of late, and now the Coolest Dude in the Universe has been demoted to a lesser position. Actually he's not in the search results at all.

The sad truth of the matter is that, if none of the major search engines recognize the one and only Coolest Dude in the Universe in their search results then there is something wrong in the space - time continuum. This situation needs immediate attention.

What does it take to be the coolest dude in the universe?

I wanted to take a few moments and discuss why I am no longer the coolest dude in the universe, at least according to Google anyway.

The reason I think is because I have not posted any comments to this blog in sometime. There still isn't any real competition for the phrase "Coolest Dude in the Universe" so I'm just guessing the Google decide that I was no longer relevant in being the coolest.

However that is going to change very very soon.

It is my intention to move this blog back the first result in Google when you type in the phrase that brings up the cool one in the galaxy.

Don't be fooled though.

Should you find someone else that claims they are the coolest one. They are a fraud.

Check back in a week and we'll see where I stand.

Well this post is once again self serving. I am reclaiming the sole title as coolest dude in the universe again today. You may or may have not noticed.. Depending on how you got here. If you check Google by typing in coolest dude in the universe you'l find me at the top of the seach at least for today.

This is my first post and I have just proclaimed myself as the Coolest Dude in the Universe.
I got the idea from a mentor of mine by the name of Brad Fallon who is by the way the Coolest Guy on the Planet . If figured if he is the coolest guy then I must be the coolest dude in the universe. Just what makes me so cool? First the fact that you are here at my blog is a start. You arrived here more than likely because I left a link somewhere on the world wide web that drove you to this page. It is this reason alone that makes me cooler than most right off the bat. If you do a search in Google,Yahoo, or MSN if all has gone the way I want it to, you'll find me at the top or close to the top of the results page for each of those search engines.
