Here's Why The C.D.I.T.U Thinks That The Xbox 360 Kinect Is The Coolest Gaming Accessory In The Universe
You know early last year Microsoft rolled out the Kinect for Xbox 360 for the gaming world to behold. It turns out that this one piece of equipment may very well revolutionize that way that many current, and future gamers interact with their consoles, and games.
Like anything else, the Kinect is the first rendition of what surely will be additional tweaks to the original product as it becomes an essential part of a gaming system.
It uses a sensor bar to track your body movement much like Nintendo Wii, but is much more sophisticated. You can see it in action here: http://www.xbox360kinectdeals.com
This sensor can also recognize your face and voice allowing you to sign on to the console without ever having to enter a user name and password. Unlike most hand held controllers where you are just controlling the superhero or villain, you actually become the character using your body’s full range of motion. This allows you to step into a virtual world and physically act out your characters movements and emotions.
One can only imagine how games like Madden, Guitar Hero or Rockband and so many others will be seriously upgraded, and in dept because you are able to interact directly with the characters that you represent on the video screen.
You literally use body motions as commands for all kinds of actions within the video screen. For example in one auto racing game you are able to walk all the way around your car. Open the hood, the door, get in, start it up, and then drive the thing with your hands out in front of you, just truly amazing.
Overall, this is a very exciting product in the motion gaming arena that stands out above all other products. Microsoft has done an excellent job with the XBOX 360 and this is nothing short of spectacular and stands to make lot of people feel like the coolest dude in the universe when it comes to playing video games. Until next time......
